Did you know about the Horse?
I did know the horse I drew. I have ridden him before and scored a 84 to split first.
Tell me about your ride, did you feel strong, did the horse perform the way you thought it would? I felt like I rode real well, it was the same trip, but the horse got weaker as the ride went on. He is a younger horse and just sort of weakened on me. I covered and scored a 78. One whole out of the money.
Rodeo committee?
The Rodeo Committe was really good, and they put on a good rodeo. There was no hopsitality tent.
I had to get to the airport in St. Louis to catch my flight to Boston for my next rodeo and thought for sure, someone would be going that direction. I literally asked everyone I could find and not ONE person was going that direction. I just knew I was going to miss my flight, but the stock contractor lent his truck, and a bullfighter took me to the airport, and I barely made it!

Cowboy Christmas brings gifts for Brazile
For Trevor Brazile, it was Christmastime in hot July.
The pro rodeo kingpin from Decatur increased his chances of winning a record-tying seventh world all-around title by earning $24,190 last weekend during Cowboy Christmas, the Independence Day week when competitors frantically travel to an abundance of high-paying rodeos.
According to the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, Cowboy Christmas began June 29 and when night fell Sunday, there had been 30 rodeos contested in 15 states and two Canadian provinces, paying out more than $3.25 million in prize money (read more)
