Did you know about the Horse?
I drew 283 Indian Sign. I didn’t know the horse, so I asked behind the chutes about him. He was “supposed” to be the best horse there.
Tell me about your ride, did you feel strong, did the horse perform the way you thought it would?
The horse was fine in the chute, he was a bit nervous but stood well. He blew out nicely and jumped up in the air and kicked real hard. On the next jump I started spurring him and he turned back to the left and just kept rearing up and spinning. Never really kicked he just whirled around. I did ride him and scored a 71. Since this horse didn’t really buck, I would have thought I would have had an option of a reride but no option so it is what it is.
Rodeo committee?
Hospitality was great. This was a good rodeo; it was my first time there. The scenery was beautiful, the arena was surrounded by mountains.
After this rodeo we headed out on a 17 hour drive to Window Rock, AK…stay tuned!
