NAMPA – Hundreds of cowboys are spending the week in the Treasure Valley show casing their athletic skills at the Snake River Stampede. While it’s meant to be entertainment for families it can be a risky job for those who make their living on the back of a beast.
They rope, they ride and for many it can look a little rough, but to the cowboys it’s just another day on the job.
“You don’t want to be a weenie,” said Cody Demoss, a professional saddle bronc rider.
It’s just another day on the job.
“Every time you crawl down in that chute with a wild animal it’s pretty intense,” said Demoss. (read more)
