Days of '47 Rodeo: Bradley Harter seeks ride to title

Texan ranks fourth in saddle bronc riding, has sights on return to NFR.

West Valley City Saddle bronc rider Bradley Harter’s quest for a world championship in 2009 actually started at last year’s National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

After placing in six of the 10 rounds, earning more than $72,000 and finishing fifth at the NFR, Harter entered this season with confidence, focus and extra motivation.

“I saw that me being No. 1 wasn’t out of sight,” Harter said prior to Friday night’s session at the Days of ’47 Rodeo.

“It’s funny about the National Finals. When you leave there, you know you just left the best bucking horses and the best rodeo in the world and you have a fire lit under your butt. You’re ready to go again.” (read more)
