Brazile comes up short but still wows crowd

LYNDEN – Trevor Brazile’s tie-down roping debut at the Lynden PRCA rodeo lasted about 3.75 seconds and finished with the calf on its feet and the superstar cowboy shaking his head.

Even the best in the world has an off day now and then.

“Not a great night right there,” Brazile said. “When you’re trying to be fast, that’s what happens. If you’re just trying to go catch, you can go catch every time. When you try to win you have to be ready to lose.” (read more)
