
Graves turned down a pair of steers in 4.2 and 4.3 seconds this past weekend at a rodeo in Billings, Mont.
Neither time was fast enough to finish in the money, but his total time of 8.5 was good enough to split seventh in the aggregate on two for a forgettable $358.
With this year’s regular season already over, the money counts towards next year’s world standings.
The 2005 world champion’s performance at Billings was far more successful — and memorable – a year ago.
The Calgary steer wrestler won the rodeo with a total time of 9.1 seconds to earn $4,434.
