So are you roping or not????
Conversation between Me and The Heelin’ Hottie (The Heelin Hottie is my teamroping boyfriend that lives 3.5 hours away from me)
Monday Afternoon Phone Conversation:
Blue Moon: So babe, what are we going to do this weekend when I get down there?
The Heelin Hottie: Nothing! We are just going to hang out and relax, watch movies and grill out.
Blue Moon: That sounds great! You aren’t going to rope?
The Heelin Hottie: Nope, no roping for me this weekend!
Blue Moon: You sure, I dont care if you rope, if you need to practice, then ROPE!
The Heelin Hottie: No way! I have roped all week, I am not roping this weekend…just gonna hang out with you (AWWWWWW isn’t that sweet??)
Tuesday Morning:
Blue Moon: So what do you want to have for dinner Friday night?
The Heelin Hottie: Umm, actually there is a possibility that we may practice Friday night……
Blue Moon: Oh, so you ARE going to rope?
The Heelin Hottie: MAYBE…I am not sure yet babe, but it will be a quick practice and then we can hang out, no longer than an hour (Um, have you ever seen a roping practice ONLY take an hour?? UH NO!)
Tuesday Night:
The Heelin Hottie: Okay, so we are DEFINITELY gonna practice Friday night
Blue Moon: Cool! So what is the plan for Saturday?
The Heelin Hottie: Well………….we may actually rope Saturday morning BUT it isn’t set in stone yet…..
Blue Moon: Seriously? Babe, why do we continue to play this song and dance???
The Heelin Hottie: You got me, I have no damn clue. (laughing)
Blue Moon: Ok, just to keep it going, you gonna rope on Sunday too?
The Heelin Hottie: NO, I am not roping on Sunday, I promise……. (I call bullshit!!!!)

So guess who is SUPER lucky to have a girlfriend that likes being at the arena???? Uh, The Heelin Hottie! haha
Oh and Mr. Heelin Hottie, if you are reading this, I also know how SUPER lucky I am to have a boyfriend that puts up with my barrel racing! Thanks!!!
Earnhardt's daughter likes her horsepower

Taylor Earnhardt rode out of James Brown Arena and returned to her horse trailer with nary a soul bothering her.
The daughter of famed race car driver Dale Earnhardt Sr. still lives in relative anonymity in the vast world of barrel racing. On the other hand, she doesn’t mind it when people approach her wanting to talk about her NASCAR legend father, who crashed and died on the final lap of the 2001 Daytona 500.
“I like it when people come up to me. I like to talk to people,” she said. “I’ll talk about whatever.”
She began riding horses at age 3 because of her father. He’d pick up his youngest daughter and place her in the saddle with him.
Taylor Earnhardt said life with “The Intimidator” was different at home than what NASCAR fans saw on a weekly basis.
