 I can for sure get a lawnmower stuck! Being that Blue Moon and I live together, it is just us girls, so we have to do with what we have! haha! I was mowing early this spring and decided to mow an area that is pretty tricky around our gravel driveway. Okay..lets be honest.. I was totally mowing an area that I should have been weedeating, but you know what I hate the damn weedeater. So me being me, I thought for sure I could mow this with the John Deere.  There I am, with my ipod blaring and me singing to the top of my lungs. Let me tell ya, the neighbors love it when you do this! I mean nothing like screaming out the lyrics to Black Betty over the sound of the mower! That takes real talent.
 
Anyway, back to the incident! I am mowing along and two of the tires drop off the side of the gravel and get stuck. Well in my mind I am thinking this is really no big deal because I can just push it out. So I turn it off, get off of it, and start to push the mower from behind…umm nothing.. not budging.. so I grudgingly take off my ipod because this is really messing up my plans. I examine my situation and think, “this is ridiculous… surely I can get this out”. Well the way our place is set up, where I am, I can see the back deck and the sliding glass door into the house, so I am waiting on Blue Moon to look down toward the barn and make an effort to COME ON DOWN and help me out! I mean for sure she heard the mower shut off! 5 minutes… 10 minutes and nothing, no help has arrived. So I have reached the conclusion I am gonna have to walk up there and have her come down and help me!
 
I get to the house, and who do you think is in the house, just laughing, laughing, laughing? Yes,Blue Moon, has a great sense of humor and she has been watching me this whole time, and finding great humor in this situation.
 
After the look on my face she stops laughing and we head on down to the barn, to get the mower out because at this point, I just want to get the yard done! Okay, with the two of us, we will have no problems pushing this mower out of this stupid situation I have gotten it in.
 
Well there we are, both pushing, and….NOTHING.. it doesn’t budge! Okay, so how about you push and I pull, that will for sure work! Ummm again… Nuthin!
 
So after we both laugh for few minutes, and think about our neighbors on their deck and how funny this must look and how only the 2 of us could end up in this predicament, with no mud, no wet ground nothing…the mower is just stuck all on its own! (oh and all along Blue Moon reminding me, I DID THIS)
 
I finally said, “I am tired of messing around, screw it, I am going to go get the F350, that SOB can pull it out”
 
So…. I pulled it out with the big truck and a freaking team roping rope, because I couldn’t find anything else! TOTAL REDNECK MOMENT, and quite hilarious I might add! I havent lived it down yet!
 
Ahhhh good times, good times…
