So what is???
Hey Everybody!
Guinness and I were talking about our “guilty pleasures” when it comes to spending money on our horses? What is yours?? Mine is blankets. I have blankets and coolers for all of my horse and here is the kicker; I rarely ever use them! Yet, every year I go looking at the “deals” I can find. How crazy, right?
Guinness’ guilty pleasure is headstalls. Since we haul together I can verify that this is true! There are WAY too many headstalls in the trailer!!! haha!!
So what is yours?? Saddle Pads? Polos? SMB Boots? Halters? Saddles?? WHAT??? Tell ME!
Collected Wisdom of Billy Etbauer

He will be trying to win a sixth world title that would tie him with saddle bronc legends Casey Tibbs and Dan Mortensen for the most ever.
The highlight of the 2009 season for Etbauer was winning the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo for the first time.
Etbauer and his wife, Hollie, a barrel racer, live on 440 acres in northwest Edmond with their children: Kord, 13; Jacie, 11; and Treg, 8.

Justin Davis of Cottonwood to Compete in Vegas
The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is pro rodeo’s version of the Super Bowl – except the event runs 10 consecutive days.
Rodeo’s big in the north state, but not many area cowboys make it to Las Vegas in December for the NFR as contestants.
This year, that’s changed thanks to 22-year-old Justin Davis of Cottonwood.
The NFR takes the top 15 competitors in each event from the world standings, which are based on money earned from rodeos in a given year.
Davis grabbed the 15th and final spot in team roping for heelers to punch his Las Vegas ticket when the 2009 season ended in mid-October. Davis had been ranked around 10th through 12th for much of the early part of the year before coming near the bubble.
But, he racked up $55,315 as the tail end of a team roping duo, beating out Britt Bockius by slightly more than $4,000 for the 15th spot.
So Davis is headed to Las Vegas’s Thomas & Mack Center for 10 rounds in 10 days from Thursday through Dec. 12. Most of the rounds are scheduled to air live on ESPN Classic.
“It’s pretty cool to go,” Davis said Tuesday. “Kind of being the local boy does good angle.” (read more)
