Horses, Horses, Horses……
Introducing Red Rose Bloodstock:
At Red Rose Bloodstock you will find quality horses with a good working foundation. Most of our horses can be taken from the barrel racing arena to ranch work or to the roping pen. We offer young horses started under saddle all the way up to finished barrel racing horses.

LILLY DOC
1999 Mare Genuine Pepsan-Scarlet Chancey, by Chauncey Tex
This mare is a granddaughter of Genuine Doc and goes back to Tex Oh on her bottom side. She is about as finished as they come on barrels, works cattle like a cutting horse and will go only the speed you ask for in the arena. Very broke, lots of fancy moves on this mare!
Contact Red Rose Bloodstock for more information!!!
Stay tuned, OTRR will be featuring more horses that are for sale throughout the holiday season!
Two-loop rule to change team roping at WNFR
For the first time ever, team ropers at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo will only be allowed a total of two loops, a rule change that will greatly affect the 15 teams’ approach to this year’s competition. Under the new rule, the team will receive a no-time if either partner misses. In years past, the team was allowed to rebuild their loop if either partner missed, giving the team a total of three possible loops.
The rule change could place much more importance on consistency at the Thomas & Mack Center. Team ropers may change their approach this year, possibly being less aggressive than in years past.
“It might make it a little bit more conservative,” nine-time World Champion Trevor Brazile said. “It may affect how things start, and I think if you miss one, I’m pretty sure you’re not going to be out of the average (picture). It may change the way you go at a steer that may be tougher to go at. Instead of trying to lay it on him real fast, you may make more of a plan on some of the tougher steers. I don’t think it’s going to change my game much. As a whole, I don’t think it’s going to change a lot. Personally, I like the change.” (read more)
