Blaine Linaweaver a team roper was the individual that lent his horse. Hats off to him because most would not have let their best horse be used to rope a bull on asphalt. Also a thank you to pickup men Paul Peterson and Scott McClain for for helping Bronc get the bull back to the arena. Pickup men are the most unrecognized individuals in the arena. This year alone had Paul Peterson 3x NFR, Gary Remple 5x NFR and Scott McClain 1x NFR....WHAT TALENT!!!!!

Well, there is nothing wrong of being a couple of country pumpkins, just as long as they stay true to themselves, I think that is the most admirable thing. Never mind being country guys, at least they didn't start a sentence with "Me", such as "me and Cord..." like some non-country people do. Good luck to both of them. I'm a city dweller, but my late step-grandfather was a rancher & I used to go with hIm when he buys and sells horses & cows & see the rodeo. I've not been to the rodeo since he passed away, but I'm going to start going again, just because it gives me the feeling of being in the midst of "Americana." Jet and Cord are doing a good thing of reminding people out in the world of rush, judge, and greed, that simplicity and modesty is always the best, though mostly go unappreciated. Good Luck & God Bless the Cowboys!

Such great info! Thanks Troy for sharing with us! I would have never put two and two together that a barrel horse would more than likely be sore on whichever barrel is their first, but makes total sense! Can't wait to see more from you!

I cannot wait for Cowboy Militia's new summer line. They've got so much great stuff to come out, like Ed Hardy-style hats, which I want really badly!
I'm also hoping this extra-winter-padding that I've put on comes off so I DON'T have to add new jeans to the list of wants!
